EWC Mentors’ Effective Networking and Training Cooperation Reinforcement
About the project
The project aims to promote employee involvement in companies, with a particular focus on establishing and developing European Works Councils (EWCs). Additionally, it seeks to address challenges stemming from changes in the world of work, particularly within the context of the twin transitions (green and digital).
To achieve these goals, the project brings together trade unions and employers’ organizations from the metallurgical sector, with extensive experience in transnational projects related to information, consultation, and worker participation. Various activities will be conducted, including the creation of a mentor network and the development of a chatbot, to provide support and guidance to companies and workers on EWC-related issues.
The project aims to strengthen employee participation in business decisions, especially amidst current economic and technological changes, with the goal of improving working conditions and fostering constructive dialogue between employers and employees.
