MetaTech Exchange: Bridging Industry 4.0 in Western Balkans (METATECH4.0)

Over three intensive online meetings, METATECH4.0 partners explored the future of the metal industry and vocational training in the Western Balkans and across Europe. Discussions focused on industry challenges and opportunities, the development of training modules in areas such as 3D design, printing, and CAD tools, and strengthening cooperation between industry and vocational education providers.

Partners shared good practices from different countries, highlighted the role of SMEs and industrial labs, and reflected on how digital tools, technical skills, and soft skills can be better aligned with real industry needs. These exchanges laid important groundwork for practical testing and the next steps in developing relevant, future-ready training solutions.
